UM WOMEN
United Methodist Women gather for their monthly meeting.
The United Methodist Women are an active group of women who meet at 9:30 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month, August--May.
The women support the local Women's Shelter by collecting paper goods each month. This group is active in making mission kits for Ingathering, and nap blankets for the Women's Shelter.
They sponsor the annual Christmas Cookies and Candy Sale the first Saturday of December. They host the home made beef and noodle dinner in late winter and the Good Friday bake sale.
This group supports many other worthwhile projects which supports missions and the local church.
PURPOSE OF UNITED METHODIST WOMEN:
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
